Self Defense for Women tip no. 1
Elbow is the strongest part of your body. If the attacker is in close contact do not hesitate to use it.

Self Defense for Women tip no. 2
When confronted by a robber asking you for your valuables for example your hand bag, necklace or watch, do not hand over the items in their hand, instead throw them in some other direction. Chances are that the attacker may be more interested in your valuables rather you and may go for the valuables instead of you. Run away from the scene like hell if he opts for the valuables.

Self Defense for Women tip no. 3
In case you are kidnapped and thrown into the trunk of the car. Kick at the back of the trail lights to dislodge them completely and then stick out your hand from the opening so created and wave like crazy. The attacker driving the car might never notice it but the passer bys or other motorists will.

Self Defense for Women tip no. 4
Never sit alone in a car with your passenger side door open especially at night or isolated places. The attacker might be watching every single move you make and this might give him the perfect opportunity to get in on the passenger side, pull out a gun and put it on your head then tell you where to go. As soon as you get into the car lock all the doors and windows and leave.

A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:
  1. Be aware: look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor, and in the back seat.
  2. If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
  3. Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. And better paranoid than dead.

Make use of the elevators and not the stairs. Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the honey moon destination for criminals.

Self Defense for Women tip no. 7
If the attacker threatens you with a gun and you are not being held by him, then it is always better to run like hell. A moving target is much harder to hit than a stationary target. Most attackers might not shoot at all and even if they shoot they are most likely to miss the vital organs.
