Place the fingertips of your four fingers lengthwise on your other wrist. Make sure they are across your blood vessels. Place your thumb on the backside of the wrist at the same time. Press down on them as hard as you can. In just a few seconds you will start to feel the hand going numb because the amount of blood flowing to it has slowed. If you apply this tactic to someone else they will instinctively let go of you with that hand.

In order for pressure point tactics to work you have to remain calm. This way you can focus on performing the various techniques accurately. If you aren't able to perform them accurately you could end up injuring yourself or the situation at hand could continue to escalate.
